This advertising poster is for Swallow & Ariell's Biscuits, founded by Thomas Swallow in 1854 with T.H. Ariell taken on as a partner 5 years later. It was at one time the fifth largest biscuit company in the world and ceased trading under Swallow & Ariell in 1964 when it was largely bought out by the Australian Biscuit Co. A delightful reprint of an Australian classic, it would make a lovely decorative print for your home or office.
